Ralph Heims III May 15, 1963-August 2, 2018 Ralph Heims III, 55, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday August 2, 2018 at LaPorte Hospital. He was born May 15, 1963 in Knox , Indiana, the son of Ralph Heims Jr.and Grace Irwin (Caudill) Heims . Ralph enjoyed fishing and anything related to cowboys. He LOVED horses and enjoyed cooking. For many years, Ralph worked as a caregiver assisting the elderly. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. He was a member and supporter of the First Pentecostal Church in La Porte. He is survived by his Mother, Grace Irwin (Caudill) Heims, siblings, Craig (Sandy) Heims, Joy (Jim) Mullins, Sue (Donald) Snow, Angel (Chip) Cable, Chris (Jay) Searing, Jack (Jerri) White, Step Mother , Maxine Heims; Sister In Law, Debbie Powell Heims Sales along with many nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Heims, Jr., and his Brother, Tony R. Heims and his Step Father, Robert Irwin. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, August 6, 2018, beginning at 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A life celebration will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Richard Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte.
