Ralph E. Everill November 7, 1937-January 24, 2014 Mr. Ralph E. Everill , 76, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Friday January 24, 2014 at Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, IN. He was born November 7, 1937 in Woodstock, Illinois, the son of Kelsey Everill and Ruth (Padgett) Everill. Ralph worked in security for Whirlpool, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a United Methodist Church Lay Leader. US Veteran of the Navy during Peacetime, serving on the USS Yorktown. He was a member of the American Legion of New Carlisle, and a Lake Patrol member. He was a volunteer chaplain for LaPorte Hospital. Ralph enjoyed photography and spending time with his "coffee buddies". He especially enjoyed traveling the world and went on 5 cruises with his wife. On October 10, 1959, in Rolling Prairie, IN, he married Myrna (Hunt) Everill who survives. He is also survived by his 3 daughters - Cheri (David) Ringer of Plymouth, IN, Linnaea (John) Arford of Fort Wayne, IN, Pamela (Kevin) Dixon of New Carlisle, IN; 3 Grandchildren - Lisa Tucker of Rolling Prairie, IN, Ainee Ringer of Plymouth, IN, Mackenzie Arford of Fort Wayne, IN; brother - Bill Everill of Jacksonville, FL. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Everill; three grandchildren, Madelyn Arford, Angela Tucker, and Jonathan Tucker. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN A Memorial Service will be held at the Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Debbie K. Beason, officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will take place in Rolling Prairie Cemetery, at a later date.
