Phyllis Richardson

Mrs. Phyllis J. Richardson, 80, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday February 28, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN. She was born March 29, 1928 in LaPorte, IN., the daughter of Charles Kirkham Sr. and Edith Freese Kirkham. Phyllis lived in the LaPorte, IN area, all of her life. Phyllis was a homemaker, she was a big fan of Elvis, she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. On July 3, 1948 she married John "Jack" Richardson, who preceded her in death on February 24, 1990. She is survived by her five daughters, Cheryl Roger Williams of La Porte, IN., Pam Nick Gardner of LaPorte, IN., Dianna Wayne Price of La Porte, IN, Cindy Mark Rogers of LaPorte, IN, Chris Rick Wiltfong of La Porte, IN, two sons, Dale Richardson of La Porte, IN, Rex Kathy Richardson of Fish Lake, IN, sister, Arlene Meyers of Rolling Prairie, IN, two brothers, Wayne Kirkham of Rolling Prairie, IN, Terry Kirkham of Michigan City, IN, Fifteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Eight Great-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father and mother, One Sister, Four Brothers, One Son-in-law. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and 9:00 am Wednesday, March 4, 2009 until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home on March 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
