Phillip Sturdy

Mr. Phillip H. Sturdy, age 43, of 610 Pine Lake Ave., La Porte, Ind., died Friday, January 27, 2006, at 4:10 PM at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born September 2, 1962 in Valparaiso, IN. to Boucher Sturdy and LaVada Harmon Sturdy both of Valparaiso, IN. Phillip has lived in the Porter and LaPorte County area most all of his life. Mr. Sturdy was Co-owner and founder and salesman of Automated Machinery Equipment. He had an Associate of Arts Degree form Purdue University and he Enjoyed Mechanical Hobbies and Electronics. He is survived by his parents Boucher and LeVada Harmon Sturdy of Valparaiso, IN.; Two Sisters, Mrs. Linda Don Faas of Warsaw, Ind., Mrs. Debbie Rottler of Alexandria, Va.; Two Brothers, Mr. Ken Tracy Sturdy of Union Mills, Ind., Mr. David Cris Sturdy of Des Moines, IA ; and six nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by Two Nephews, David Rottler and Brandon Sturdy. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2006. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Ind.
