Phillip Johnson

Mr. Phillip W. Johnson, age 64, of 6377 N. St. Rd. 39, La Porte, Ind., died Sunday, September 4, 2005, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born July 16, 1941 in LaPorte, IN. to the late Howard Johnson and the late Audra Parker Johnson, and live in the LaPorte area all of his life. Mr. Johnson was employed as a salesman by Consolidated Construction and then by Johnson Construction. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of LaPorte and a of Member of the F.O.E. of LaPorte #2439. He enjoyed model cars and raising livestock and Gardening. He is also survived by One Daughter, Mrs. Jennifer Walkden of Three Oaks, Mich.; Three Sons, Mr. Bryan Johnson of Knox, Ind., Mr. Bruce Rhonda Johnson of Knox, Ind., Mr. Jeffery Johnson of Hoopeston, Ill.; Two Step-sons, Mr. Tony Sheila Albertson of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Mr. Brian Tonya Albertson of Rolling Prairie, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Nancy Chuck Bunch of Kingsbury, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Dennis Rose Ann Johnson of La Porte, Ind.; Fifteen grandchildren and One great-grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2005. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2005 , Rev. Dan McDonald and Rev. Larry Greene officiating. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
