Phillip Arnold

Mr. Phillip J. Arnold, age 80, of 1111 Longwood Dr., La Porte, Ind., died Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Countryside Place in La Porte, Ind. He was born February 25, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Fred Arnold and the late Bessie Young Arnold. He has lived in the LaPorte area for 20 years coming from Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Arnold was employed by C.E. Nieoff for 11 years. He Served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post #83 of LaPorte. On April 24, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois he married Arlene Lovekin who survives. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A graveside service will be at Patton Cemetery at 11:00 AM Monday, January 30, 2006, Roy McNeal Funeral Director and Certified Funeral Celebrant officiating.
