Perry Crowe

Mr. Perry Crowe, Jr., age 60, of La Porte, Ind., died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at his residence in LaPorte, Indiana. He lived in the LaPorte, area most of his life. He was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of LaPorte, Indiana. He was born on November 22, 1947 in Monon, Indiana to the late Perry Crowe, Sr. and the late Charlotte McGuire Crowe Gangwer. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Phyllis VanderVliet Crowe of LaPorte, Ind.; One Son, Mark Crowe of La Porte, Ind. Two Sisters, Cheryl Jerry Yaw, Sue Roy Runion; Two Sister-in-laws, Kathy Crowe, Donna Butler; Brother-in-law-Gerald Hill; One Niece, Melissa Dan Feare; Three Nephews, Jason Lisa Runion, Derek Runion and Jeremy Crowe; Great Niece, Alexis Veach and Great Nephew, Thomas Hill Preceded in death by his: Parents; Sister, Marsha Hill; Brother, Jerry Crowe; and Nephew, Shawn Vick Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 3, 2008 and from 9:30 AM Saturday, October 4, 2008, until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 4, 2008, with Rev. Mike Johnson, officiating. Cremation will take place, burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
