Pear Nelson

Mrs. Pearl Ann Nelson, age 83, of 4534 W. U.S. 20, La Porte, Ind., died Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Countryside Place in La Porte, Ind. She was born January 26, 1922 in Gary, IN. to the late George Yager and the late Pearl Severcence Yager. Mrs. Nelson was a Homemaker and was a member of Presbyterian Church of LaPorte. On October 3, 1964 in LaPorte, IN. she married John Raymond Nelson who survives. She is also survived One Daughter, Mrs. Nancy Ellis Swihart of North Liberty, Ind.; Two Step-daughter-Mrs. Jane Ann Melton of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Laurie Fawyer of Brownstown, Ind.; One Step-Son, Mr. James Nelson of La Porte, Ind.; Eight grandchildren; and Eighteen great-grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A Gravesude Funeral service will be at Pine Lake Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2005 , with Rev. David Gibbs officiating.
