Mrs. Pauline A. Wilkey, 81, of 616 E. Clay Street, New Buffalo, Michigan, died Sunday, February 15, 2004, at 3:45 p.m. at the LaPorte Hospital. She was born October 17, 1922, in Princeton, Indiana, to W. Leslie and Flossie E. Wilson Irvin. Mrs. Wilkey had worked as a seamtress for Gateway Industries for 16 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of East Galena Homemaker's Club for 46 years, TOPS of Rolling Prairie, also has obtained KOPS Honor in 1996, and had held officers positions in both clubs. On February 24, 1940 she married Samuel L. Wilkey, in Hannibal, Missouri, who preceded July 8, 1972. Also preceding her in death were her parents, and one brother. Surviving are three daughters, Bonnie E. Vane Jones of Grants Pass, OR, Christine Robert Adams of LaPorte, IN, and Lory L. Joseph Gilchrist of Rolling Prairie, IN; two sons, Leslie "Skip" Diane Wilkey of New Buffalo, MI, Noel A. Karon Wilkey of Yelm, WA. The funeral will be Wednesday, Feruary 18, 2004 at the Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church with Rev. David Tripp officating. Friends may call at the Haverstock Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of the service at the church.
