Paulette JoannPointon May 10, 1949-March 23, 2018 Paulette Joann Pointon, 68, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at her home. She was born May 10, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Paul Damrau and Glenna (Brooks) Damrau. Paulette was an avid NASCAR fan and loved having NASCAR parties in her garage. She was a die hard Jeff Gordon fan. She also enjoyed camping. She was loved by everyone that knew her and she will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her four children, Charlie Pointon, Jamie Pointon, Toni Lynn Lausman and Kerry Robey Sholes; three grandchildren, Heather Pointon, Brandon Pointon, and Ricky Pointon; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Dee Brown, and Tracey Damrau. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Pointon, and one brother, Bill Damrau. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Private family services will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, Indiana.
