Paul D Petroff May 23, 1960-September 17, 2014 Mr. Paul D Petroff Jr., 54, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Wednesday September 17, 2014 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born May 23, 1960 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Paul D. Petroff, Sr. and Alice M. (Lock) Petroff. Paul worked as an educator for the Indiana State Prison. He was a member of Salvation Army of Michigan City, IN. On August 1, 1998, in Michigan City, IN, he married Gloria (Oliver) Petroff who survives. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Petroff of Michigan City, IN, mother, Alice M. Petroff of Michigan City, IN; son, Peter Petroff of Bloomington, IN; daughter, Star Remerez of Orange, CA. and one sister, Sheila O'Neal. Paul is preceded in death by his father. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. A celebration of life will be held at Salvation Army 1201 Franklin St. in Michigan City, IN, on Sunday September 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
