Paul Merritt LeRoy May 17, 1925-December 25, 2016 Mr. Paul M. LeRoy, 91, of La Porte, Indiana, formerly of Mill Creek passed away Sunday December 25, 2016 at Symphony at Aria in Hillside, IL. He was born May 17, 1925 in Mill Creek, Indiana, the son of James A. LeRoy and Erscel (Wing) LeRoy. Paul was a retired farmer working the family farm for many years. He was a retired truck driver transporting cars through out the area. Paul enjoyed country music, taking pictures with his Polaroid camera, good food and playing bingo at Brentwood. He loved his farm and driving through the countryside. On November 24, 1950, in North Liberty, IN, he married Susan Leonard LeRoy who preceded him in death September 10, 2004. He is survived by his two daughters, Karen (Michael) Gates, Diana (Mitch) Langston; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Dineen, Christopher Dineen, Alanna Dineen, Jennifer Gates, Kyle Gates; one great-grandchild Kai Gates and a daughter-in-law, Sarah LeBelle. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, James LeRoy, and daughter, Linda LeRoy. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2016, from 9:00 am - until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating.
