Paul Jurkowski

Mr. Philip L. "LeRoy" Jurkowski, age 54, of La Porte, Ind., died 3:43 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at his home in La Porte, Ind. He was born June 2, 1954 in La Porte, Ind. to Aloysisus Jurkowski and the late Gloria Gerds Jurkowski. He has lived most of his life in the La Porte area. Mr. Jurkowski was self-employed handyman. He was a member of USBC Bowling Association, and on a league at the Thunderbird Bowling Lanes. He is survived by his Daughter, Dawn Hess of La Porte, Ind.; Two Sons, Adam J. Jurkowski of La Porte, Ind., Derek Widener of Pontiac, Ill.; Three grandchildren; Father, Aloysisus Jurkowski of Joliet, Ill.; Two Brothers, Michael Marion Jurkowski, Paul J. Cathy Jurkowski both of Joliet, Ill.; Special friends, Rita Slotten and Daniel of Dwight, Ill. and Tammy Human. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A graveside service will be at Patton Cemetery at 2:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2008, Rev.
