Patricia Weaver

Patricia A. Weaver was greeted at the gates of heaven by Jesus on November 28, 2009. She was born on July 29, 1931 to Glenn and Kathryn Overmyer Reed in Culver, Indiana and raised in Ora, Indiana. She later moved to New Carlisle and then to LaPorte where she resided, since 1971. In 1949, she married Guy McDonald who is deceased. On September 14, 1968, she married Paul F. Weaver who survives. She is also survived by three sons; Craig A. Suzzane McDonald of LaPorte, IN.; Mitchell G. Lesa McDonald of New Carlisle, IN. and Reed C. Laura McDonald of LaPorte, IN.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Glenna Davis of New Carlisle, IN; a special cousin, Edna Kimmey and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, a husband, and one sister Hope Ham. Her family and her music were her passions. Pat was a real estate broker for thirty-eight years and proudly considered all of her clients as friends. She was a member of Support Our Youth, worked many years with the Needy Children's Christmas Fund and a member of the LaPorte County Association of Realtors. She was a member of Agape Christian Church. Visitation will be at Haverstock's Funeral Home from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday December 1, 2009 and there will be a Celebration of Life service at the Agape Christian Church 1601 I St. at 2:00 PM Sunday December 6, 2009. A private family entombment of ashes will take place. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a memorial be given to the Agape Christian Church Building Fund in her name.
