Patricia A. Harris August 21, 1942 - January 30, 2016 Patricia A. Harris age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She is survived by her daughters, Penny Morgan and Virginia Gourley; grandchildren, Allisha Gourley, Jessica Morgan, Trisha-Ann Hurley and Lexus Lipscomb; great grandchildren, Austin, Ariana-Lynn, Ashlee, Rafael, Myah-Lynn, Taylor, Asiah and Andre; siblings, Norma (late Hank) Morley, Donald (Sandra) Bennitt, Frederick 'Joe' (late Sharon) Bennitt and Melodie (Michael) Buckmaster Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Virginia Bennitt; husband, Wayne Harris; son, William Gourley and great granddaughter, Ronni Morgan. Pat was born and raised in Rolling Prairie, IN and was a proud 1960 graduate of Rolling Prairie High School. At the age of 46 she received her Masters degree with honors from PNC. Pat was a board member and secretary of the Dunes Fellowship House for 25 years. She was an avid Nascar and Cubs fan and loved 'da Bears'. Patricia enjoyed playing on her pool league. Pat was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 5:30 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services 602 Maple Avenue LaPorte, IN with Pastor Jay Loucks officiating. Interment of cremains at a later date. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday from 4:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
