Orma Schoyck

Mrs. Orma Van Schoyck, 82, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday January 31, 2009 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born August 30, 1926 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Willie E. Moyer and Lennie Marie Bennitt Moyer, and has lived in the La Porte area all of her life. Orma retired from American Home Foods in 1986 after 26 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church, La Porte V.F.W. Aux., Disabled Veterans, La Porte American Legion Aux., and the Moose Lodge of LaPorte. On August 5, 1947, in La Porte, Ind., she married Ralph Eugene Van Schoyck who preceded in death on July 24, 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Van Schoyck of La Porte, IN; three son, Gene Pam Van Schoyck of South Bend, IN, Frank Mary Van Schoyck of La Porte, IN, Brian Barbie Van Schoyck of La Porte, IN; 16 Grandchildren, Richard, Keith, Jeremy, Andrew, Alesha, Bradley, Tina, Casey, Bridget, Dominick, Jhozaeha, Justin, Orma Darlene, Charity, Brian Lee, Yolanda; and 26 Great Grandchildren. Orma was preceded in death by father, Willie E. Moyer, mother, Lennie Marie Moyer, husband, Ralph Eugene Van Schoyck, brother, Kenny Moyer, sister, Gladys Keller, and daughter-in-law, Barbie Van Schoyck . Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, February 3, 2009 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Wednesday, February 4, 2009 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., February 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ransom Ebersol officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Chapel Cemetery, New Carlisle, Indiana.
