Olive Ingram

Mrs. Olive M. Ingram, 88, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday April 28, 2009 in Leesburg, FL. She was born December 3, 1920 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Wade E. Wright and Florence E. Benson Wright, living in the LaPorte, area, all of her life. Olive was self-employed as a real-estate broker for Ingram Realty. Olive was a member of Business & Professional Women, the Board of Realtors, past president of the Eagle Auxilliary; she was involved in the girl scouts and PTA. On July 10, 1943, in LaPorte, IN., she married David G. Ingram who preceded her in death March 30, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Mary H. Keehn of LaPorte, IN; sons, David Shelia Kolar Ingram of LaPorte, IN, Thomas Debra Ingram of LaPorte, IN; sister, Helen Erickson of LaPorte, IN. and brother, Wade N. Wright of Aroya, CO.; Three Grandchildren and Five Great- Grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David G. Ingram and brother, Willard Wright. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday May 12, 2009 at 7:00 PM with David Lantz officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at a later date in Carmel Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
