Nora J. Korbal July 22, 1941-February 5, 2018 Mrs.Nora J. Korbal, 76, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday February 5, 2018 at her home. She was born July 22, 1941 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Arnold O. Gesse Sr. and Caroline E. (Michaels) Gesse. Nora retired from Maple City Laundry in 2008. She was a member of the PNA (Polish National Alliance), She was a loving parent, grandparent and great grandparent. On September 2, 1995, in La Porte, IN, she married Wayne J. Korbal who survives. She is also survived by her two sons, Richard (Gail) Vaughan of La Porte, IN, Charlie (Kathy) Brew of South Bend, IN; five daughters, Charlotte Welsh of Douglas, GA, Carla (Fred) Hartley of Nicholls, GA, Patricia (Jay) Davis of Bridgman, MI, Lori Adkins of Douglas, GA, Melinda (Ray) Clagg of Nicholls, GA; many grandchildren, ; several great grandchildren, ; brother, Carl (Sandy) Gesse of Portage, IN; and a sister, Patricia Johnson of Indianapolis, IN. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Betty Vaughan, Brenda Vaughan, son, Tim Grinner, sister, Mary Wilson and a brother Arnold Gesse Jr. Private family services will be held at a later date.
