Nina Emberton

Nina F. Emberton April 7, 1942-October 31, 2017 Nina F. Emberton, 75, of Walkerton, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Hospice Franciscan Communities in Michigan City, Indiana. She was born April 7, 1942 in Dewitt, Arkansas, the daughter of Reo and Nan Adams. Nina was a member of New Life ConnectPoint Church of La Porte. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, watching movies on the television, going to garage sales, and going fishing with her husband. On April 7, 1977, in Chicago, IL, she married William E. Emberton who survives in Walkerton, Indiana. She is also survived by her son, William H. (Tammy) Emberton of Crystal Lake, IL; daughter, Dorothy Brown of La Porte, IN; two Grandchildren, Dana Emberton and Daniel Emberton both of Crystal Lake, IL. Nina was preceded in death by both her parents; two sisters; Wanda Sullivan, Loraine Flemings; seven brothers, Albert Adams, Bill Adams, Dale Adams, Lester Club, Lloyd Club, Virgil Mayberry, Jim Adams; grandchild, James Roger Brown. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, November 3, 2017, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 4, 2017, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor Randy Duncan and Pastor Dan Wright officiating.
