Myron Ray Ward, Sr November 8, 1948-August 20, 2015 Mr. Myron Ray Ward Sr, 66, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was born November 8, 1948 in St. Joseph Co., Indiana, the son of Henry and Delores (Butler) Ward. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Duffessy; sons, Chris (Angela) Ward, and Myron Ward, Jr; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Laurel Kublick, and Thelma (Larry) Truex; brother, Robin (Debbie) Ward; many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Myron was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Sue Hasty. Myron was a longtime resident of New Carlisle, a 1967 graduate of New Carlisle High School and retired from Reese Trailer Hitch in Elkhart, IN. He was a member of Sauktown Church of Christ. As a member of the Pigeon Club, he enjoyed raising pigeons, hens and rollers. He also enjoyed playing card and dice games, watching TV and riding motorcycles. Most of all, Myron loved to listen to Christian music and reading his Bible. Myron will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, August 24, 2015 from, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm CST and at the Sauktown Church of Christ on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from 10:30 am CST, until time of service. A funeral service will be held at Sauktown Church of Christ 8751 E. 150 N., Mill Creek, IN, Tuesday August 25, 2015 at 11:00 am CST with Minister George Bond officiating.
