Sharon Buchanan September 8, 1956-March 16, 2013 Ms. Sharon Buchanan, 56, a resident of Tupelo, Mississippi, passed from this life on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Sharon was born to the union of Ernest and Odessie Buchanan on September 8, 1956, in LaPorte, Indiana. She graduated from LaPorte High School in 1975. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory a son - Dontrell and a grandaughter - Ja'Kiah; three sisters - Nettie Jackson, Margaret Hunt, and Ernestine Goldstein, and one brother- Joe Cooper. Preceding her in death were her parents, and one brother, John Buchanan. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 1:00 pm, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday April 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Reed officiating.
