Ms. Lida Jandrisovits

Lida Mae Jandrisovits August 20, 1927-January 31, 2015 Lida Jandrisovits, 87, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Saturday January 31, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor-New Carlisle in New Carlisle, IN. She was born August 20, 1927 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Herbert C. Hunt and Hannah C. (Prestin) Hunt. Lida had worked 35 years for Heat Tape Mfg., retiring in 1992. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of LaPorte, where she sang in the choir and volunteered in the Braile Center. She belonged to the CWF (Christian Women's Fellowship), and God's Golden Warriors.. She was a veteran of the US Air Force. Lida loved her country and loved her family very much. She is survived by her son, David Paul (Peggy) Jandrisovits of Rolling Prairie, IN; three grandchildren, Jacqui Wines, Tara Jandrisovits, David Paul Jandrisovits II; four great-grandchildren, Alex Lee Jandrisovits, Xavier William Jandrisovits, Aziah Skye Jandrisovits, and Chad Wines II. Lida was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Delores Stewart. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, February 4, 2015, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Thursday, February 5, 2015, from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday February 5, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. John Marron officiating.Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, Indiana. A Military Service will be conducted by the American Legion Post #83 of LaPorte, at the cemetery.
