She was born September 2, 1944 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Paul Jackson and Mary (Engelbrecht) Jackson. She is survived by her 3 daughters - Dawn Tidey of La Porte, IN, Debbie (Brandon) Glassman of La Porte, IN, Dayna Young of La Porte, IN; 3 sisters - Sally Worthington of La Porte, IN, Sharon Cravens of La Porte, IN, and Dixie Clark of La Porte, IN. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Megan M. Tidey, and sister, Sandra Smith.
