Winnie Noble January 22, 1923 - June 13, 2012 Mrs. Winnie Noble , 89, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her home. She was born January 22, 1923 in Talcum, Kentucky, the daughter of Grover Francis and Serena (Fugate) Francis. Winnie had lived in LaPorte Co., since 1960, coming from Kentucky. Winnie was a member of United Baptist Church of South Center, she has received special encouragement and comfort from Pastor Paul Richardson of the Great Faith Baptist Church in Michigan City, IN. Winnie did excellent in her education, she was best in her class in math and spelling. She was very artistic in designing her quilts and embroidery for her grandchildren. On October 31, 1942, in Jackson, KY, she married Raymond Noble who preceded her in death December 2, 2005. She is survived by her 2 sons - John L. (Anne) Noble of Seven Springs, NC, Ronald L. Noble of Kingsford Heights, IN; 3 daughters - Wavie (Ronald) Bent of Kingsford Heights, IN, Golden (Michael) Pasken of Lakeland, FL, Gail (Thomas) Spriggs of Philpot, KY; 11 grandchildren; Martin Bent, Denise Herrold, Kimberly Jones, Christina Hege, Cara Peralta, Matthew & Timothy Pasken, David & Missi Spriggs, Raymond & Veronica Noble; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; 3 sisters - Bessie Lawson, Essie Fugate both from of Kentucky, Vina Ritchie of North Judson, IN. Winnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, five brothers, five sisters. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, June 15, 2012, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 2:00 pm, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday June 16, 2012, at 4:00 pm with Pastor Paul Richardson officiating.
