Mrs. Wilma Klement

Wilma E. Klement, 85, of LaPorte, Indiana, died Wednesday January 4, 2012 at her home. She was born July 11, 1926 in Galien, Michigan, the daughter of Alfred Zook and Lillian (Stump) Zook. Wilma graduated from Rolling Prairie High School. She loved flowers, nature and enjoyed doing crafts. On July 15, 1945, in LaPorte, IN, she married Joseph Klement who preceded her in death on February 29, 1996. She is survived by her 2 sons - Michael and Gregory Klement both of La Porte, IN; daughter - Sharon Klement of La Porte, IN; 2 grandchildren - Joseph Klement and Allison Klement both of La Porte, IN, and one sister - June (Albert) Lestinsky of La Porte, IN. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, Iva Zook, and Inez Clendenen; three brothers, Allen, Glen, and Lloyd Zook. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 11:00 am, until time of service. A Life Celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday January 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jo Ellyn Chadwick officiating.
