T. Pauline Miller January 22, 1931-May 9, 2012 Mrs. T. Pauline Miller , 81, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday May 9, 2012 at her home. She was born January 22, 1931 in Carlisle, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph Dugan and Carla (Esslinger) Dugan. Thelma worked for eighteen years for Sears, retiring in 1984. Thelma enjoyed working on crafts, sewing and crocheting. She especially loved spending time with her family. On June 8, 1949, in Knox, IN, she married Homer Miller who survives. She is also survived by her two daughters - Linda Sue (Jim) Platt of La Porte, IN, Brenda (Tom) Rosa of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren - Mike Prater, Tom Prater, Steve Weiderhold, Angie Newton, Matt Rosa; nine great grandchildren; sister - Flo Vester of La Porte, IN. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gene and Ralph Dugan, and two sisters, Juanita Purcell and Laura Thompson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & Monday, May 14, 2012 from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday May 14, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jonathan Bonomo officiating.
