Phyllis Olson May 7, 1929-December 25, 2013 Mrs. Phyllis Olson, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday December 25, 2013 at her home in La Porte, IN. She was born May 7, 1929 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Perry Flagg and Fern (Butler) Flagg. She was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church. On January 29, 1955, in Rolling Prairie, IN, she married Lee C. Olson who preceded her in death April 14, 2012. She was a loving mother to her son - David (Sandra) Olson of Kingsford Heights, IN; and daughter - Deborah Olson-Danti of Lake Bluff, IL; and grandmother to - Andrew Olson, Domenic Danti, Danielle Danti. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Leslie Flagg, Sandra Peterson and Bevra Rose. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 11:30 am until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday December 28, 2013 at 1:30 pm with Dr. Joseph Loftis officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church 907 Michigan Ave. LaPorte, IN 46350.
