Mrs. Patsy Schrier

Mrs. Patsy A. Schrier , 81, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at Golden Living Center-Countryside in LaPorte. She was born May 23, 1930 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Cliffford Oattes and Corinne (Gustafson) Oattes. Patsy enjoyed playing games and spending time with her neighbors, she especially loved being with her family and grandchildren. On March 9, 1952, in LaPorte, she married George A. Schrier who preceded her in death August 28, 2011. She is survived by her daughter - Terri Warren of La Porte, IN; 1 grandchild - Aaron (Melinda) Stacy of La Porte, IN; 2 great grandchildren - Wyatt Stacy and Ty Stacy both of La Porte, IN. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son-in-law, Roy Warren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at the Pine Lake Cemetery on Monday January 2, 2012 at 10:00 am with Pastor Jo Ellyn Chadwick officiating.
