Mrs. Norma Miller

Norma S. Miller, 67, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Thursday April 14, 2011 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City. She was born June 5, 1943 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Richard Stephani and Betty (Cites) Stephani. She lived all of her life in the Michigan City, area. Norma had worked for 17 years at American Home Foods, retiring in 1984. She also worked for five years at Kankakee Valley Workforce Development Services and formerly sold Tiara Glassware. Norma enjoyed reading, and crocheting. She especially loved spending time with her family. On June 29, 1963, in Hamlet, IN, she married Clifford Miller, who preceded in death June 24, 1969. She is survived by her mother, Betty Stephani of LaPorte, IN.; Fiancé - James Mueller of Lake Station, IN; 2 sons - Kenny (Pattie) Shull of Rolling Prairie, IN, Bryan (Wayne Necessary) Holden of Lake Station, IN; 7 grandchildren - Jacob Shull, Heaven Shull, Rhiannon Shull, Nikki Evans, Danny Evans, Courtney Gregory, Jessica Boucher; sister - Jo Ann (Wallace) Wisnieski of La Porte, IN; four nieces; three nephews; two grand nieces; brother in law and sister in law - Gail & Dianne Wilson; daughter-in-law - Lori Boucher; sister-in-law - Lolita Stephani; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. Norma was preceded in death by her father, husband, son, Phillip Boucher, sister, Peggy Fisher, brother, John Stephani, nephew, Jamie Fisher. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm & Monday, April 18, 2011 from 9:30 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home on Monday April 18, 2011 at 10:30 am with Rev. Dr. James Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at the Tracy Cemetery, Hamlet, IN.
