Mrs. Mary Weller

Mrs. Mary E. Weller, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday May 4, 2012 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She was born October 23, 1927 in Garrett, Kentucky, the daughter of Algin Thomas Crowe and Louetta (Christman) Crowe. Mary retired from American Home Foods after 20 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets and she could always be found at a yard sale. On August 30, 1946, in Valparaiso, IN, she married Richard "Dick" Weller who preceded in death December 15, 2011. She is survived by her daughter - Linda L. Lubs of Westville, IN; 2 Grandchildren - Heather (Dan) Benson of Westville, IN, Tina (Johnny) Albertson of La Porte, IN; 2 great grandchildren - Michael and Heath Benson; 2 sisters - Avis Smith and Gladys Adkins both of Kenton, OH; and a brother - Pony (Iris) Crowe of Kenton, OH. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and a son-in-law, Raymond K Lubs Jr. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, May 08, 2012 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday May 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Curtis Southwood officiating.
