Mrs. Mary Triplett

Mrs. Mary A. Triplett, 91, of La Porte, IN, died Sunday March 27, 2011 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She was born June 19, 1919 in Crandon, Wisconsin, the daughter of Sam Westimayer and Mary (Reilly) Westimayer, and has lived in La Porte for the last 5 years coming from Whiting, IN. Mary had her own hair salon in Whiting IN before retiring in 1981. Mary enjoyed gardening, flowers and taking walks. She loved animals and had her own "Doggy Daycare" for friends. In 1941, in Chicago, IL, she married Lloyd Triplett who preceded in death in 1975. She is survived by her niece - Linda Pinkstaff of La Porte; great niece - Lisa Pinkstaff of La Porte; great nephew - Bruce Pinkstaff of Andover, MN; along with many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Kim Landrum officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, IN.
