Mrs. Sherman was very active at First Baptist Church of Kingsbury for many years serving as Junior Church teacher, deaconess, Women's Missionary Fellowship member, and church secretary. Mary was predeceased by her parents, five brothers (Howard, Charles, Leo, Everett, and Luther), and one great-grandson, Lane Easley. She is survived by two sisters, Bertha Dobbins and Lorene (Dwight) Beaty; five children, Ramona (Larry) Warg, Carolyn (Conan) Brown, Constance (D.J.) Caudill, Joseph C. Stewart IV (Becky), and James Hunsche; ten grandchildren; and, nine great-grandchildren.
