Mrs. Marie Mccoy

Mrs. Marie G. McCoy, 88, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Wednesday October 5, 2011 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She was born February 1, 1923 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Erving Wilhelm, Sr. and Grace (Heise) Wilhelm. Marie loved spending time with her dog Precious and especially loved being with her family. On February 21, 1942, in LaPorte, IN, she married Dale C. McCoy who preceded her in death October 13, 1998. She is survived by her three grandchildren - Kandie (Rob) Myers of Rolling Prairie, IN, Jody Lovekin of Fish Lake, IN, and Dale Lovekin of Fish Lake, IN; five great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; two sisters - Patsy Maxson of La Porte, IN, and Betty J. Lower of La Porte, IN, one brother, Erving C. Wilhelm, Jr.of New Carlisle, IN, and one son-in-law, Verne Lovekin of Fish Lake, IN. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sandy Lovekin; three brothers, Eugene J., William G., and Edward G. Wilhem. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2011 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 9:30 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday October 8, 2011 at 10:30 am with Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating. Interment will follow at the Carmel Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
