Mrs. Mabel Oesterle

Mrs. Mabel A. Oesterle, 86, of LaPorte, IN, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at The Arbors of Michigan City. She was born July 16, 1925 in Saunemin, Illinois, the daughter of Bert Miller and Mary (Eich) Miller. Mabel worked as a marketing coordinator for Travelers Insurance Co. On December of 1945, in Illinois, she married Adam E.Oesterle Jr., who preceded in death September of 1962. She is survived by her daughter - Sandra (James) Olson of La Porte, IN; 3 Grandchildren - Amanda (Chad) Martin of Indianapolis, IN, Paul (Lakiska) Hanahan of La Porte, IN, Michael Olson of Portland, OR; great-grandchild - Blaire Martin of Indianapolis, IN; special friend - Bill Wiggs of formerly of LaPorte, IN. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Steven Miller, and one sister, Ann Krippel. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, August 12, 2011 from 12:00 pm, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday August 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Evan Lash, officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
