Mrs. Lynda Holt

Mrs. Lynda K. Holt, 69, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Saturday October 27, 2012 at her home. She was born December 28, 1942 in Jasonville, Indiana, the daughter of Kenneth Breese and Irene (Butcher) Breese. Lynda was a loving homemaker. She was a member of First Church of God. Lynda loved her church, reading the Bible, and spending time with her family. On December 22, 1965, in Honolulu, HI, she married Carl E. Holt who survives. She is also survived by her son - Carl (Debbi) Holt of Mishawaka, IN; daughter - Amber (Donald) Hughes of La Porte, IN; 5 grandchildren- Brittney Holt, Kayelah Holt, Jourdann Holt, Camilla Holt, Steven Holt; great-grandson - Keven Wilkins; and sister - Dyana Kinsey of La Porte, IN. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William White, and sister, Carol Lovelace. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Family will also receive friends at the First Church of God on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. A Life Celebration will be held at the First Church of God, Wednesday October 31, 2012 at 12:30 pm with Pastor Roger Ash officiating.
