Kathleen R. Pierce February 8, 1947 - April 25, 2012 Mrs. Kathleen R. Pierce, 65, of New Buffalo, Michigan, died Wednesday April 25, 2012 at Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation Center She was born February 8, 1947 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Merlyn Moore and Kathleen (Beale) Moore. In 1972 in Valparaiso, IN, she married Jerry Pierce who survives. She is also survived by her mother, Kathleen Moore of Fort Wayne, IN.; 3 sons - Patrick Pierce of San Jose, CA, Matthew Pierce of AZ, John Pierce of Hobart, IN; 2 daughters - Victoria Yoder of Fort Wayne, IN, Jamie Hunsberger of Angola, IN; and many grandchildren. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Gary Moore. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN.
