Mrs Katherine Ryden

Mrs. Katherine F. Ryden, 92, of La Porte, Indiana, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born March 19, 1920 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Clement Korros and Edna (Norton) Korros. Katherine retired from American Rubber Products in 1970. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church. On September 4, 1937, in LaPorte, IN, she married Richard E. Ryden who preceded her in death November 21, 1987. She is survived by her daughter - Sandra (Charles) Glen of La Porte, IN; 2 sons - Richard P. Ryden of La Porte, IN, Terry (Virginia) Ryden of North Port, FL; six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Dorothy Kienitz, Madelaine Butler, and one brother, Edward C. Korros. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday October 27, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Armiger officiating.
