Mrs. Josephine Tincher

Josephine (Jo) Tincher, 92, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, died peacefully August 31, 2012 in the IU-LaPorte Hospital. She was born November 30, 1919 in Sweet Springs, West Virginia to Ottie (Griffith) and James Meadows. She married William Tincher November 29, 1937 in Arbovale, West Virginia, he preceded in death November 20, 2008. She retired, after many years of work, from American Home Foods. She had previously worked at Kroger. She loved her home and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Jean Edwards, LaPorte and son William Tincher, Jr, Logansport. Two sisters Helen Kotzum, Annabelle May and brother Kenneth all of Maryland. Also six, grandchildren Theresa Carey of Springville, Utah, Billie Jean Williams of Logansport, Indiana, Angela Sutton of Livonia, Michigan, Tricia Larsen of Orem, Utah, Natalie Holloway of New York City, New York, and David Tincher of Logansport, Indiana and ten great grandchildren, Jimmy Carey of Utah, Cody and Josh Williams of Indiana, Andrew, Ashley, Nathan and Danielle Sutton of Michigan, Brinley, Tanner and Tyler Larsen of Utah and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bill Olin Meadows and Roy Meadows, three sisters Margaret, Madaline, Ruth and son-in-law Randy Edwards. Services will be Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 11:30 AM at the Deaton Funeral Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky conducted by Gary Bellamy. Burial will be in the Tincher Cemetery in South Fork, Kentucky.
