Mrs. Janette Clark

Janette Kelley Clark July 25, 1918-December 11, 2011 Janette Kelley Clark , 93, of La Porte, Indiana, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Settlers House in La Porte, IN. She was born July 25, 1918 in Martinsville, Illinois, the daughter of Daily Earnest Kelley and Cecil (Deahl) Kelley. Janette was a beautician for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church in Las Vegas and also a member of the Eastern Star in Quincy, Illinois. Janette enjoyed golfing and competed in ballroom dancing. On March 30, 1941 she married Silas Litteral, who preceded her in death on August 8, 1964. On June 18, 1974 she married John Clark, who preceded her in death May 3, 1994. She is survived by her brother - Jay (Barb) Kelley of La Porte, IN; sister - Norma (Bob) Litteral of Shelbyville, IL, and many nieces and nephews. Janette was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two sisters, Elizabeth Setzer, Nell Rosentreter; two brothers, Eugene and Theron Kelley. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 9:00 am until time of the service at the Greenwell Funeral Home 30 N. Washington St. Martinsville, Illinois. Services will be held at the Greenwell Funeral Home, Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Internment will be held in Grandview, Illinois.
