Dorothy Eileen Morgan October 4, 1924 - June 25, 2012 Mrs. Dorothy Eileen Morgan, 87, of La Porte, Indiana, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She was born October 4, 1924 in Vermillion Co, Illinois, the daughter of Aaron Hoskins and Lena (Claypool) Hoskins. She was a member of Kingsbury Baptist Church. Dorothy was a loving grandmother. She enjoyed communicating with family and friends on her computer. On June 25, 1955, in Kingsbury, IN, she married Gilbert M. Morgan who preceded her in death July 7, 2007. She is survived by her daughter - Pam (Michael) McIntyre of La Porte, IN; son - Terry (Susan Welsand) Morgan of Bloomington, IN; 2 grandchildren - Andrew McIntyre, and Adam McIntyre; 2 brothers - Wayne Hoskins of Bradenton, FL, Glen Hoskins of Harlingen, TX; 4 sisters - Violet Wurtsbaugh of Lafayette, IN, Vera Trim of La Porte, IN, Lorraine Bealor of La Porte, IN, Tola Haley of Dwight, IL. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Raymond Hoskins, and Ronald Hoskins. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, June 28, 2012, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, June 29, 2012, from 9:30 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday June 29, 2012, at 10:30 am with Rev. Timothy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingsbury Baptist Church .
