Mrs. Doris Robison

Doris L. Robison, 95, of Walkerton, IN. died Thursday August 25, 2011 at Walkerton-Miller's Merry Manor. She was born June 12, 1916 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Harry Perkins and Ethel (Wakeman) Perkins. Doris was a member of the Tracy Methodist Church. In July of 1934, she married Marion E. Robison who preceded her in 1991. She is survived by her son - Donald Robison of Virginia Beach, VA; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, and one brother - Harry Perkins of Hamlet, IN. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Barbara Robison Talmadge, and four sisters, Genevieve Thomas, Nelda Goens, Ruth Hayter, and Helen Cole. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. Cremation will take place. Services will be held at a later date.
