Mrs. Carolyn Eigenmann

Mrs. Carolyn Marie Eigenmann, 72, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday August 29, 2013 at Golden Living Center Fountainview Terrace. She was born February 14, 1941 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Herbert Hubner and Hazel (Arndt) Hubner. Carolyn worked as a nurse's aide for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On September 5, 1959, in La Porte, IN, she married Ronald L. Eigenmann who survives. She is also survived by her daughter - Kristina (Paul) Adams of La Porte, IN; 2 sons - Ronald (Cathy) Eigenmann Jr. of Middleburg, FL, Jason (Beth Ann) Eigenmann of La Porte, IN; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchild; and many cousins. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date with Rev. Ronald Brauer officiating. Interment of ashes will be at the Pine Lake Cemetery.
