Arlene O. Mounce November 6, 1920 - November 21, 2012 Mrs. Arlene O. Mounce, 92, of New Carlisle, Indiana, formally of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Hamilton Communities, Inc. in New Carlisle, IN. She was born November 6, 1920 in Mentone, Indiana, the daughter of Samuel Zolman and Helene (Radtke) Zolman. Arlene worked as a clerical worker for Farm Bureau COOP Rolling Prairie for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie. On November 23, 1940, in La Porte, IN, she married Arthur Mounce who preceded her in death March 22, 1969. She is survived by her daughter - Karen Finley of South Bend, IN; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers - Max Zolman of Michigan City, IN, and Walt Zolman of South Bend, IN; sister - Joyce Smith of NC. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Peggy Jones, son, Roger Mounce, 1 granddaughter, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Sunday, November 25, 2012 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm & Monday, November 26, 2012 10:00 am until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday November 26, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
