Mrs. Alice Fear

Alice Marie (Fox) Fear September 18, 1925 - January 19, 2012 Alice Marie (Fox) Fear, 86, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday January 19, 2012 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She was born September 18, 1925 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Harold Fox and Linnea (Malm) Fox. She has lived in the La Porte area most of her life. Alice worked in food service for Kingsbury School, and retired after 15 years. She was a member of Kingsbury Baptist Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, and was a member of the Woman's Missionary Group. On November 17, 1945, in Michigan City, she married Raymond Fear who survives. She is also survived by her daughter - Peggy (Art) Michaels of La Porte, IN; 2 sons - James (Sandy) Fear of Burnsville, MN, Daniel (Andrea) Fear of La Porte, IN; 2 Sisters - Elenore Kennedy of Michigan City, IN, Haroldine Hatton of New Buffalo, MI; 5 Grandchildren - Amy Michaels, Angie (Tony) Wisneski, Mat Fear, Pam Fear, and Shane Reid; and 8 great grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her brother - Raymond Fox. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Monday, January 23, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm & Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 9:30 am until time of service. Life Celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 10:30 am with Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, Indiana.
