Mr. Russell Hasse

Mr. Russell V. Hasse, 74, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday May 11, 2012 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. He was born August 10, 1937 in St. Joseph , Michigan, the son of Albert Hasse and Laura (Boucher) Hasse. Russell retired in 1991 as a district sales manager for Warner Lambert where he worked for 23 years. He was Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was very active in V.F.W. Post #9423 of Rolling Prairie and Amvets. On May 5, 1973, in St. Joseph, MI, he married Nancy Bowman Hasse who survives. He is also survived by his son - Jim (Toni Lynn) Fleming of Fairmont, MN; daughter - Pat (Dean) Graham of La Porte, IN; 4 Grandchildren - Alec Graham, Jessica Fleming, Jennifer Fleming, Julie Fleming; brother - Ron (Bev) Hasse of Coldwater, MI; and a sister-in-law - Ruth Hasse of Sandusky, OH. Russell was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Hasse. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 10:30 am until time of the service at the First Christian Church, 610 Maple Ave, LaPorte, IN.
