Mr. Ronald Gross

Ronald Lee Gross age 64, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tammy Gross; children, Ronda (Richard) Brown and Ronald Gross Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew Kalucki, Andrew Kalucki, Kimberly Kalucki, Madyson Gross and Dylan Gross; brother, Louis (Bonnie) Gross; sister in law, Alice Gross and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Caroline Gross and brother, Paul Gross II. Ron was born in Michigan City, IN and retired from Sullair LLC. He was a Deputy Sheriff with the La Porte County Lake and Safety Patrol. On September 24, 1988, he married Tamera Gauck in Rolling Prairie, IN. Ron enjoyed fishing and working on his Chevy Camaro. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ron was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Home Instead Care, the staff of Franciscan Hospice in Michigan City, the Rolling Prairie Fire Dept. and the La Porte County EMS for the love and attention that was given to Ron and our family. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:30 AM (CST) at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Avenue La Porte, IN with Pastor Jonathan Gross officiating. Interment to follow at Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM (CST) and on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM (CST) until time of service at the funeral home.
