Robert H. Hartman May 5, 1937 - August 15, 2012 Mr. Robert H. Hartman, 75, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday August 15, 2012 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, IN. He was born May 5, 1937 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Andrew Hartman and Emma (Fuzy) Hartman. Robert worked as a supervisor for Teledyne Casting Service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy. On May 26, 1979, in Rolling Prairie, IN, he married Ellen (Schieman) Hartman who survives. He is also survived by his 4 sons - Todd (Pat) Hartman of TX, Bob (Alice) Hartman of Seymour, IN, Bryan (Lori) Moore of Rolling Prairie, IN, Jeremy (Amber) Moore of Westville, IN; daughter - Lori (Joe) Murray of Indianapolis, IN, and twelve grandchildren; 1 brother - Andrew Hartman of FL; 2 sisters - Pat (Doug) Massey of Rolling Prairie, IN, and Sharon (Carmine) Petrungaro of AZ. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one son Lance Hartman. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 2012 from 9:00 am. until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday August 17, 2012 at 11:00 am. Cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
