Mr. Richard Roark

Richard J. Roark, 29, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2011 in LaPorte, due to an auto accident. He was born July 29, 1981 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Dwayne Roark and Regina (Polk) Roark-Pike. Richard worked as a machinist for Graphic Packaging. He enjoyed playing pool, spending time with his friends. Richard especially loved spending time with his son, Kamron. He is survived by his father, Dwayne Roark of Westville, IN, mother, Regina Roark-Pike of LaPorte, IN.; fiancée - Julie Baughman of La Porte, IN; son - Kamron Roark of La Porte, IN; two brothers - Joseph (Jyll) Anderson of Michigan City, IN, Eric M. Anderson of Casa Grande, AZ; four sisters - Danielle A. Polk of La Porte, IN, Hope M. Polk of La Porte, IN, Andrea C. Roark of Ada, OH, Elizabeth Barnes of Lima, OH; two grandmothers - Susan M. Doran of Michigan City, IN, Mabel Philips of Michigan City, IN, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, William E. Doran, and David Philips. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, April 8, 2011 from 2:00 pm until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday April 8, 2011 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Danny Marple officiating.
