Mr. Ray Livinghouse

Ray Erness Livinghouse, 89, of La Porte, Indiana, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at his home. He was born August 31, 1922 in Jack's Cabin, Colorado, the son of Noah Livinghouse and Charlotte "Lottie" (Brockman) Livinghouse. Ray had been a farmer all of his life. On July 8, 1944, in Michigan City, IN, he married Lydia (Huge) Livinghouse who survives. He is also survived by his daughter - Wanda (Chris) Schoof of La Porte, IN; 3 sons - Richard (Marilynn) Livinghouse of La Porte, IN, Erness (Linda) Livinghouse of La Porte, IN, Donald (Sandy) Livinghouse of New Carlisle, IN; six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Edward Livinghouse. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm & Monday, January 2, 2012 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. A Life Celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 am. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
