Mr. Marsena Wiltfong

Marsena B. Wiltfong January 24, 1916 - July 24, 2012 Mr. Marsena B. Wiltfong, 96, of La Porte, Indiana, (formerly of North Liberty) died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Settlers House in La Porte. He was born January 24, 1916 in Mill Creek, Indiana, the son of Russell Wiltfong and Mabel (Wedel) Wiltfong. Marsena worked 45 years for Modine's Mfg. He was a Veteran of US Navy during WWII and was a member of American Legion. Marsena was an avid bowler and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his son - Brent Wiltfong of La Porte, IN; daughter - Cindy Wiltfong; grandchild - Renate Wiltfong; sister - Alice Reese of La Porte, IN, and many nieces and nephews. Marsena was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Darlene Arney, Enola Wiltfong, Floy Rensberger, and 1 brother, Russell Wiltfong. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & Monday, July 30, 2012 from 10:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday July 30, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating.
